Monday, 24 April 2017, marks the official commencement of construction for Mount Edgecombe Retirement Village. This is an extremely exciting phase of our development, especially as we boast an unprecedented accomplishment of breaking ground within a mere 10-months from launch. Most significant, is the fact that Mount Edgecombe Retirement Village is the only retirement estate, within the Greater Umhlanga area that has reached the point within a number of years; making this a significant moment for retirement within KwaZulu-Natal as a whole.
It has always been our priority to start with the construction of the 24-hour Care Centre, yet over and above this promise, we will also roll out a show unit by the end of this year, that provides a true reflection of the quality of finishes and high workmanship standards.
Furthermore, our first residents can look forward to taking occupation of their units within 15 months of construction commencing, which will coincide with the completion of the Care Centre.
With all this currently underway, we are delighted to confirm that by around August 2018, Mount Edgecombe Retirement Village will be a reality.
